An employer cannot simply stop paying you these benefits. There is a process they must take to notify you of the change. You have the right to petition against that change as well. That provides you with some protection against losing your benefits for no reason.

You are declining reasonable medical treatment

You have been sentenced to jail or prison.

You will need to report any earned wages to the insurance carrier as a result. If you fail to fill them out and return them on time, the insurer may stop your payments. These verification forms are a type of fraud provision and a part of the Workers' Compensation Act. It is a way to ensure you are not receiving any other income. If you are receiving other income, you may not qualify for full disability benefits.
